Celebrities Hair and Makeup Looks to Try

Celebrities Hair and Makeup Looks to Try
Dare to try one of these great styles used by some celebrities.

Ashley Greene
“I wanted Ashley’s hair to be sexy and architectural, so I focused on a deep side part and super-shiny finish,” says celebrity stylist Ted Gibson, who used products from his own line on the actress.

DO IT YOURSELF!
Prep: Start by spraying roots with Build It Spray, a blow-drying agent that volumizes hair. Then, carefully create a deep side-part in a diagonal direction. Keeping this shape, blow-dry hair until perfectly smooth.
Style: Run a dab of Tame It Shine Lotion through hair to protect from heat. Separate hair into small sections and use a flat iron to create a gleaming, stick-straight finish.
Set: Finish with Beautiful Hold Hairspray.

Emma Stone
The actress’s hairstylist, Mara Roszak, channeled Hollywood’s 1960s starlets like Jane Fonda and Brigitte Bardot to create this sleek and sophisticated down ‘do.

DO IT YOURSELF!
Prep: Apply Leonor Greyl mousse to wet hair and part to the side. Blow dry hair with a small round brush and pin curl.
Style: Spray set curls with Leonor Greyl Voluforme hairspray. Wait five minutes then let curls loose. Next, brush hair out and gently mold into a classic soft wave.
Set: Spray all over again with Leonor Greyl Voluforme hairspray.

Jennifer Lopez
“The look I created for Jennifer was inspired by the '60s. I wanted a gorgeous hairstyle that defined the refined sophistication of that time,” said stylist Lorenzo Martin of Jennifer Lopez’s chignon. He used L’Oréal Paris products to create the Faye Dunaway-style updo.

DO IT YOURSELF!
Prep: On damp hair, spray EverStyle Volume Root Lifting Spray at the roots. Blow-dry with a round brush. When completely dry, work a small amount of EverStyle Strong Hold Defining Gel evenly throughout hair.
Style: Pull hair into a high ponytail, securing with an elastic. Split the ponytail into four sections and tease each one separately. Spray hair with Elnett Satin Extra Strong Hold Unscented Hairspray. Take one section and loop the piece into the ponytail, securing with bobby pins. Follow with the three remaining sections, pinning each one in a different direction to create a multidimensional bun.
Set: Finish with more hairspray.

Kate Winslet
“This look gave us a chance to show off her beautiful complexion,” says Avon’s Global Creative Color Director Jillian Dempsey of playing up the star’s glowing skin using soft blush, warm eye shadow and natural lipstick.

DO IT YOURSELF!
Skin: Prep skin with Avon MagiX Essential Face Mattifier before dusting cheeks with Lancôme Blush Subtil Sheer in Sheer Amourose.
Eyes: Apply Lancôme Color Design Eye Shadow in light apricot Laced Up over lids. Then, sweep Lancôme Color Design Eye Shadow in dark-chocolate Guest List on creases. Sweep coats of Lancôme Hypnôse Drama Mascara in Excessive Black on curled lashes.
Lips: Line lips with Avon Ultra Luxury Lip Liner in Neutral. Then, apply Lancôme Color Design Lipcolor in lavender-mauve Camisole topped with Avon Glazewear Lip Gloss in Clear.

Mila Kunis
Hairstylist Mara Roszak created a sexy yet refined look for Kunis, pairing a relaxed low ponytail with loose spiraling strands and a ladylike headband to frame her face.

DO IT YOURSELF!
Prep: Apply Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray to damp hair and part down the middle. Rough dry your hair and twist random pieces around the face to add more movement.
Style: Once hair is dry add a smidge of Oribe Pomade to palms of hands then scrunch your tresses. Pull the hair into a loose ponytail at the nape of the neck, allowing pieces around the face to fall softly.
Set: Secure the ponytail by wrapping a piece of hair around the hair tie and pinning it underneath. Accessorize with a delicate headband.

Sandra Bullock
“I wanted to highlight Sandra’s beautiful lip shape in a way that didn’t take over her face,” says Chanel makeup artist Angela Levin, who used berry tones to create this winter-perfect look for Bullock.

DO IT YOURSELF!
Skin: Prep the face and neck with Chanel Ultra Correction Lift Concentrate and, after two minutes, apply a light coat of moisturizer. With a foundation brush, blend small amounts of Chanel Perfection Lumière Makeup into skin for a dewy, flawless finish. Add a light dusting of Chanel Powder Blush in peachy-pink Orchid Rose.
Eyes: Use Edward Bess Ultra-Luminous shadows in creamy Nude (over the entire lid), gray Dusk (in the outer corner and crease) and tawny Escape (along the upper and lower lash lines.)
Lips: Top Chanel Rouge Coco Baume conditioning lip balm with matte berry Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet lipstick in L’Exquise.

Zoe Saldana’s
Saldana’s longtime hairstylist Mara Roszak ensured that the actress’s coif perfectly complemented her couture by creating a sleek, low pony, brightened with a golden chain.

DO IT YOURSELF!
Prep: Apply Josie Maran Organic Argan Oil to damp hair, then blow dry before creating texture with Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray followed by a touch of Oribe Pomade.
Style: Gather hair into low ponytail and secure with elastic. Wrap a piece of hair around elastic and tuck into the band to secure by crisscrossing bobby pins.
Set: Spray hair with Leonor Greyl Voluforme hairspray.
